That 300 figure is a combination of guests seated in the side areas of the room and standing within the central area, as is often the case at larger-scale parties and other gatherings.

The stage area provides the perfect location for an event DJ or host MC to ensure you’re able to broadcast music and/or announcements to everyone in the room with ease, giving a line of sight and not just a sound from an unidentified location.

If it’s a seated-only event you’ve got in mind, then think in terms of 200 maximum capacity to use all available floor space for a lively but still comfortable feel.

The Function Room has a self-contained bar, with the option to spill out of the room and use the main clubhouse bar if this area of the facility is hired as well. This can add 50 to capacity calculations too, giving you the ultimate level of flexibility if numbers aren’t certain when your event is first agreed upon.

There are a number of tables & chairs, some or all of which can be placed to suit or removed to another room if you’ve got a mingling event in mind where moving around more easily can be important.

The Clubhouse Bar area encompasses several cosy nooks & crannies towards the front of the building, but can also be for a smaller number in the area immediately next to the bar itself – served by a giant TV screen, if that’s useful to your event.

Hires like these are often related to pitch usage, which can be designated – by agreement with the facility’s grounds care team – to fall at any time within or outside the typical August to April football season.

You’re also able to include any or all of the internal facility areas described above, should this prove useful for catering, Green Room or meeting purposes.
